The common Eland, also known as the southern Eland is a large savannah & plains antelope found within Eastern and Southern Africa.

An adult male is approximately 1.6m tall at the shoulders and can weigh up to 942kg. Females are around 1.4m tall and weigh anywhere between 340-445kg on average.

The Eland is one of the largest antelope across the world.
