Got this as my first bow, for the price i thought it would feel cheap but i was wrong! this bow is excellent for the money - cant honestly fault it - only bad thing so far is a very saw wrist because i dont have a guard -.-

Recommended entry-level archery kit.

Ordered the Rouge kit on Sunday night, it arrived today (Tuesday), super fast hassle free delivery.

Not been able to use it yet - I've got nothing to shoot at - but the bow seems a pretty decent bit of kit, and considering the cheap price, doesn't seem cheaply made at all.

Recommended entry level archery kit.

Cheap, fun and ideal for beginners

As an introduction to archery for a first timer like me this bow has been great. It's amazing for the low price and is well built.
The grip is good and comfortable but the rubber will start to peel after a while.
It's plenty strong enough for back garden archery. The arrows penetrate my foam target with about a third of the arrow sticking out of the other side at about 25 feet range.
The arrows it comes with a decent and easy to use. The tips will dent if you hit something hard (duh) but so far none of mine have broken or bent and all are perfectly useable.

I'm not a great shot yet but I have been hitting centre target often after a few days practise so I'd say that the bow is decently accurate.
The finger tabs on the string are a good idea and are comfortable enough but beginners still might benefit from a glove of kind so as not to fall into a habit of hooking the string at the finger joint but that's mainly a discipline issue.

The only real downside is that (on mine at least) the zip ties uses to secure the bow to the backing had caused the string to fray just a little. It's not affecting the performance but I imagine it's going to shorten the life of the string a fair bit. Something perhaps QC could have caught

Super solid for the price. Substantially more so than I expected (I'd also forgotten even 25# isn't exactly feather light!)
I don't like the grip (but I rarely do) and I don't understand the weird grey colour of the riser but again at the current £25 price I'm really not complaining. As a bow for pottering about the woods at my parents it's perfect.

Very good bow to practice on and a good size for me and my 12 year old son. Goes well with the armex straw target package.

I got this bow yesterday and I absolutely love it, this is the first bow that I have ever gotten in my entire life. It is a bit big for me but I don't care.
