Grip Spots use a unique Gecko® dense silicon filament technology to attach to the lens of prescription and sports glasses.
Created with 29,000 microfilaments per square centimetre, the translucent spots grip securely while shooting, but can easily be repeatedly repositioned without leaving any residual adhesive.
This allows for bespoke occlusion needs.
What Is Eye Dominance In Sport:
Eye dominance happens when vision from one eye is favoured over the other by the brain.
For around a third of shooters the dominant eye does not match their handedness.
This process can affect sight accuracy within shooting sports and performance vision.
Many people with dominant eye problems will find it easier to shoot with some form of occlusion.
Temporarily closing one eye can help for sighting the target, but commonly an occlusion filter for glasses is recommended, resulting in a significant increase in accuracy and performance.
How To Use:
The Grip Spot is placed on the shooting glasses at the point where it removes the dominant eye’s view of the target.
It can take a few goes to get the placement right, but once the Grip Spot is in place it prevents the dominant eye from taking over.
Please note, the gripping surface is the non-shiny side of the spot.
Remove the protective layer from both sides of the Grip Spot before use.
