The hunter rest is a thicker and stronger version of the Super Rest. Can be used with all arrows, but usually used with chunky arrows like fiberglass or aluminum arrows. The preferred rest for first time archers and often included in our kits. The down side is that the thicker arm can chew your fletchings up more quickly, and be a cause of bad arrow flight due to deflection.
The Super rest is much thinner and more delicate than the Hunter rest. Can be used with all arrows, but usually used with slimmer carbons or aluminiums. The main advantage is it does not deflect the arrow as much, holds the shaft more precisely and is kinder to the fletchings. The down side is the arm breaks more easily and it wears out more quickly.
