I bought this string jig a few weeks ago and have made 3 strings on it since. While it has has done the job and I have made some great strings the length is only set by one bolt and when the string is under a lot of tension the bolt will slip and the jig will shorten. The arms on the end tend not to rotate freely under tension either but the posts have rollers on them which help with moving the string. I suppose I shouldn't have expected greatness at a low price point but am disappointed that the jig shortens and have had ended up with strings too short to use. (Posted on 05/05/2012)
