Overall good bow, and worth the money.

Hi, ok, got out with my boy today to shoot with the new ‘Core’ ‘Take Down Recurve Bow’ – 66”, it was very easy to put together, and set up. Limb socket was a little tight, but I expect that to settle in. the bow shot very well, nicely balanced, quite, and well made. It is a great starter bow, and well worth the £50. We already had other bits at home, and sight, wrist sling, and a button to help complete the set up.
Overall good bow, and worth the money.

As a beginner i bought an inexpensive bow, which has proved to be excellent, as i am a 74 year old, i am not expecting to become a competition archer so this bow suits my needs perfectly, Thank you Merlin

A pleasure

I thought of this as a budget bow- but this has far exceeded all hopes I had. It is an absolute pleasure to shot. Smooth all the way through. Looks great and really feels great in the hand.
Don't think about it, just buy and enjoy.

Great beginner bow

I ordered this at 26-28# and it's excellent. It's really easy to put together and looks great. Instructions would have been useful but after a quick google search I found some helpful articles. I have been out shooting with this a handful of times and am pleased with its performance. Due to my height I am struggling with using the bow stringer but luckily my partner helps with that :)

First bow and it's awesome !!!!

Saw this on special offer, ordered it weeks ago and gave it a try , no regret so far! It's so smooth and the riser (I chose red) is very good, the weight is perfect (I'm a beginner FYI), everything is perfect, really couldn't ask for more for this price. When I took it out to shoot......All my friends complimented on the quality and the price of the bow.

On a side note, the Customer service was brilliant, they were all so polite and helpful, I received all my help via email or phone, and they r all keen to help me. So all in all, I am very satisfy of this experience with Merlin. Thanks. A little shout out to who have helped me, Steve and Simon, great guys, reply quick on emails or phone calls!!

First ever bow
(Posted on 12/02/2014)
This is my first ever bow and it looks and feels incredible. I haven't had a chance to take it out in the garden and practice as the rain is non stop but from drawing the bow inside (without firing any arrows of course) I can tell this is something I am really going to enjoy and may even join an archery club.

Well worth the money!

got this a couple of weeks ago( red riser)and am DELIGHTED with it.Well made, feels good in the hand and shoots as smooth as silk once you set it up..Only tiny problem I had was that that the grip was a little narrow for my hand( I have large hands)but a grip cover soon fixed that.Another plus is that the limbs are interchangable with my Samic, all in all I highly recommend this bow. Nice one Merlin!
