Bohning Classic Nock - 11/32"
Starting at: £1.20
Traditional nocks of choice
Fits the string nicely on my Arcus Mongolian and Buck Trail AFB. A very robust nock and the indexer comes in very handy, especially if you do not have a different coloured index feather.
My favourite Nocks
I've been using these nocks for a couple years now, have played around with other brands in that time but keep coming back to the Bohning.
I find they attach very easily to the cedar shafts I use and clip on firmly to the string, I will admit that the after a few months (hundreds of shots later) the nock points start to get a little loose on the string but a quick pinch together on them sees them fit perfectly again.
My favourite part of them has to be the ridge though, you just feel for it, load the arrow, draw and shoot! your eyes never have to leave the target!
nocks are never the same
I've recently developed a passion for traditional archery. However there is clearly not a standard for nock sizing. My initial nocks fit, click and release from the string with excellent results, these are ''sloppy'' and cannot be used on the same string, ''dry fires'' are a finger twitch away, very unsafe. I'm loathed to build the string up for these select nocks alone.
Great nocks, but do I return to my older trusted ones and bin 36 new ones? Or ''savage'' my old arrows to replace the nocks and build up the string?
Simple solution use what fits the string snug - these are great nocks but of absolutely no use to me.
