I am fairly new to archery, but I knew in my heart of hearts that traditional archery was for me. So, a few months ago, I purchased a very well known trad recurve takedown (trust me this is relevant), which was great,... But I really wanted a proper trad bow! So, I saved up and opted for the 55# variant of the Montana after seeing multiple reviews. I have to say, my trad recurve, which I spent circa £200 more on, does not even COMPARE to the Montana! This bow has character! It sings when you release an arrow! It is beautifully crafted and it's simple (and it's a hell of a lot more forgiving than my recurve). Well worth a buy, I believe it will last a lifetime.
Very good bow. Recommend to Anyone!
I use the 60# variant of this bow. It is one of the smoothest firing bows I have ever used. Firing this bow is a *very* satisfying experience. Not only is the bow a very solid piece of equipment, the speed a well made and tuned arrow can achieve is frankly astonishing. I consider myself an experienced archer and find this bow to be a very good piece of equipment to bring to the field. While offering a good service to experienced hands, I have allowed my friends to shoot this bow to get a feel for the "flatbow" style and they have all come away smiling.
Cannot fault the design or performance in anyway. Have had immense fun over the years of shooting with this model and have achieved some of my best shots using it.
Would highly recommend to anyone, new or experienced!
